I wonder, only me alone? Or all TMNet Streamyx users? My international link slow like fsck, can’t even load in Google search engine. Are you having the same problem like me or I am bad luck today?

Why?: TMNet Netmyne Data Center changes switch, unplug and the cable and plug in.

Well, this is a 6 minutes downtime, but during that time I was in the middle of uploading an article, can you imagine, after you have finished typing 500++ words of article, when you click on Publish, it went blank, when you click back, it’s gone. How piss I am now, they do thing unprofessionally, they can simply plug out the cable without giving you a notice.

Beside that, my friend was sending out a 12MB image file, half way it stopped(almost 70%), gosh… again, I got curse like hell.

They think we are idiot, they think I don’t know the 6 minutes downtime, they don’t I place the servers there just for fun…

Why?: Network LAN port not stable.

I want give a respect to one of the TMNet service technician. Yesterday, my modem burnt out, with smell, not lightning strike, as yesterday morning no rain at all. So, I went to Kelana Jaya TM Point to claim a new modem, it’s still under warranty, I subscribe since August 2005. The customer service told me they will make a report, and ask me wait for the technician visit my home on Tuesday evening(Sunday and Monday is public holiday). I said I need to do work online, she said can’t help me on this matter because their center has no stock.

So, I can’t do anything, end up I went to bought a new one for backup, in case next time it burnt/cannot use. Just now, early morning, somebody ring the bell. Wow, suprisingly the TMNet technician bring me the new modem to replace!

ok, cheers for the technician, I respect you and appreciate your help(anyways, I have already bought a new one.. Er, for backup la!). If all the TMNet staff have the good attitude like him, I believe TMNet can improve A LOT!!!

TMNet DNS Down, cause my DNS server down. A lot people cannot access. Same thing happened to jobstreet few days ago. Sad.. TMNet..
