    Yesterday, my friend said he wants to buy Microsoft Office 2003 for his office uses, and he asked me wether I know what is the price of the software. I told him it’s expensive, may be he can try to use Open Office, it’s Open Source Software and free.

    Open Office has the functions that normal word processing software has. He said, why not check out the price first and decide what to choose later. I told him, a Microsoft Office Pro is RM1070, and he needs 2, one for him and another for the secretary. So, the total would be RM2140.

  • Browsers Exploit

    metaspoit has released a tool to test on browser exploit with CSS code. Here are the print screen;

    Right after you click on the Start Testing button, the CPU usages spike up immediately. If you run the test until the end, the results are;
    – Firefox didn’t crash
    – Internet Explorer crashed

    Lot of more exploit is coming out everyday, me and Mel decided to use Lynx.

  • Server Gotcha by Hacker

    This morning when I access to bibi.paulooi.com/. I saw the picture shown above, I access to all the website I hosted, also the same page coming out. Except Mel’s blog. Then I only found out some very high skills hacker inject index.html into every hosted folder. The files “index.html” started to inject since this morning 7am.

    Am still checking how was the file got injected into all the folders. Thanks Mr Hacker.

    The Caused
    Some of the customer didn’t patch the Mambo/Joomlah to latest version. Please do so please please please, patch your Mambo/Joomlah/Wordpress. If you require me to patch for you, let me know!

    I was an all time Meebo favourite user. Meebo has allowed me to turn on all my messenger during the time I worked with a company that block everything except http connection.
